Ms. Grabczynski has fifteen years of college
recruiting experience at the University of Michigan Business School. As the director of
recruiting, she advised thousands of companies on recruiting Michigan BBAs and MBAs. She
has participated in numerous conferences as a panel member, presenter, and moderator. Ms.
Grabczynski has written several articles for trade publications on successful recruiting
activities.
In 1988 she co-created the first
Internet-based interview scheduling sign-up system and corporate database. The system
provides Michigan Business School students and alumni total access to corporate
information that is provided to the school from recruiting organizations. Current students
have the ability to sign up for interviews from anywhere in the world or conduct their
company research. The comprehensive system also captures salary and benefit data from
graduating students for future company salary consultation and student negotiation, as
well as, stores students resumes on-line. The system was modified for the
Universitys central career services office in 1994.
In
1995 she turned her attention to the Internet, where she
used her recruiting and technical knowledge at CareerSite, an
Internet company that uses third-generation technology to match job seekers with
employers job openings. Note:
CareerSite has since been purchased and had been renamed.
Now, she has turned her
attention to consulting at Effective Recruiting Solutions,
an organization that advises companies on its recruiting strategies. Ms. Grabczynski
earned a bachelors degree in human resources and a masters in
interdisciplinary technology. Prior to her business education, she earned a degree in
medical technology and worked in the medical field for more than 10 years. |
